Act to love then you’ll feel love. I’m reading a wonderful book on Christian marriage called The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy Keller. There’s lots of wisdom throughout the book. One powerful mental re-frame you can lead with everyday is to show love first in your relationships and interactions.
Try it. Start small. Smile and look into people’s eyes. Even if you’re feeling down at the time, this simple action will powerfully bring you good vibes that will lift you up. Because people smile back. Don’t wait until you feel love from someone else. Lead with love and wonderful things will come.
